Shielings are 16 unique carpeted cottage tents, spaced in 3 glorious acres by the sea, each with a view of Ben Nevis - see photo on home page. Eight Shielings are now serviced with full kitchens and bathrooms and constant hot water - see ensuite Shielings. |

Each Shieling has real
beds and pillows for up to 6, and all the heavy furniture like table, chairs, cooker, worktops, carpets and curtains.
Electric lighting and gas heater are standard.
A completely self-contained self-catering unit.
You bring bedding, and crockery, cutlery and kitchenware, unless you prefer to hire from us. |
| We design and make the Shielings here on Mull,
where they have had 24 years of success. They are called
after the summer cottages of Highland shepherds, tending their flocks by
mountain and shore. A happy time; long carefree island days.

Two Shielings are divided to make a hostel bedroom at each end, each with its own door and twin beds (join them for a double if you like). Carpet, curtains, electric light, gas ring. You bring bedding and cooking and
eating gear, unless you prefer to hire from us.
